Stay Inspired All Year! Lakanto’s Favorite Creators

Jan 24, 2023 13:53:31PM

January is a time to re-set and refresh, and your social channels are no exception. If your feeds have been the same ‘ol thing for a while now, give them a little refresh. Mute or unfollow the channels that are bringing you down, and pack your feeds with creators who lift you up and leave you feeling like you can handle anything that comes your way.

We’ve listed our favorite creators to give you recipe and life inspiration for 2023. Take a look and give them a follow. You won’t be disappointed.

Abby Cooper, Stem and Spoon

@stemandspoon

Abby Cooper, is a wife, mom of two, and creator of Stem and Spoon, shares low-carb recipes and specializes in indulgent no sugar sweets.

Low-carb baking can be intimidating, with all of the unfamiliar flours and the confusing world of alternative sweeteners. Abby created her platform to make it easy for the rest of us.

She also credits her husband Ian for inspiring her to create Stem and Spoon. He follows a ketogenic diet to help manage a neurological condition—he was diagnosed with an incurable form of brain cancer when he was 30.

We encourage you to find a recipe that looks delish and try your hand at making it! Or, at the very least, scroll through her recipes and enjoy the eye candy. Abby is an incredible food stylist and photographer.

Mariah Knight, Fresh Water Peaches

@freshwaterpeaches

Mariah Knight decided in 2015 that she was no longer compromising between enjoying good food and feeling good. Digestive troubles put her on a twisty, turny path to becoming a holistic health coach, which helped her pinpoint her own struggles while helping others with theirs.

On her site, Fresh Water Peaches, Mariah focuses on gluten-free, dairy-free recipes that are gut friendly and above all, delicious. Take a look at her Instagram whether you’re sensitive to gluten and dairy or not—her recipes are fantastic no matter what kind of eating pattern you follow.

Jacqueline Genova, Well n Strong

@well.n.strong

Jacqueline Genova turned to holistic healing to help her mother during her cancer journey. She graduated Babson College where she wrote a thesis advocating for integrative medicine as an approach to cancer treatment. She’s a strong believer in the philosophy that addressing root causes of illness is the path to healing—as opposed to the more common approach of masking symptoms.

Her platform covers so much more than food—she delves into nutrition, mindfulness, beauty, mental health, and more. She also has a wide array of decorated contributors, so you can be confident that her information is expert-backed. If you’re looking for self-improvement tips in addition to recipe inspiration, check out Jacqueline’s pages!

Robin Plotnik, What Robin Eats

@whatrobineats

Robin Plotnik is a wife and mom of two, and has worked as a personal trainer all over the country. Before that, she was a fashion model for over 10 years.

Her socials feature fun coffee drinks, desserts, snacks, and toddler plates, along with skincare, lifestyle, and appearances from her hairless cat, Aero.

Tim Clowers, professional chef

@cheftimclowers

Chef Tim Clowers is a professional chef and caterer in Knoxville, TN. He started in the food service industry from the front lines, as a line cook, bartender, and server. Chef Tim has traveled the world and infuses his creations with culture as often as he can. If you skim through his Instagram, you’ll see down-home favorites you know and love, but leveled up in a way that only Chef Tim can.
