An easy side that’s refreshing and flavorful. This coleslaw is just what any dinner or outdoor meal needs! Make it as a side or to top your burgers, tacos, and salads. It's made with veggies that are low in carbohydrates.
Yields: 2 servings
Ingredients
2 oz Green Cabbage
1 oz Red Cabbage
½ oz Green Beans
⅕ oz Green Onions
¼ tsp Salt
¼ tsp Spices Celery Seed
½ cup Light Mayonnaise
½ tbsp Lemon Juice
1½ tsp Olive Oil
1 tbsp Dill Weed, fresh
1 tbsp Parsley, raw
Instructions
- Roughly chop the green and red cabbage, green beans, and green onion into bite size morsels. Combine them with the salt and celery seed in a bowl.
- Combine the mayo, lemon juice, and olive oil in a second bowl. Chop the dill and parsley, and mix these in with the mayo as well.
- Combine the dry and wet ingredients to make the coleslaw. You can serve immediately, or you can cover and let the slaw marinate for an hour before serving. Enjoy!

I was reading the recipe and watched the video of the coleslaw being prepared; please give some clarification as to whether GREEN ONIONS and GREEN BEANS are supposed to be in the recipe. While watching the video, the make no mention of a 1/2 cup of GREEN BEANS, only GREEN ONIONS, please give some clarification here. Thank you!
