Do you love our Sugar Free Cookie Mix? The cookies are great on their own and make the perfect low carb, sugar free dessert. But they're also easy to customize in so many different ways. Here are some of the top adaptations to the basic sugar cookie.
Peanut butter sugar cookies.
We like to say PEANUT BETTER... because peanut butter makes everything better and our new Peanut Butter Powder is just 3 ingredients of goodness:
- roasted peanuts
- sea salt, and
- monk fruit
We made sure that marrying these two glorious products would work perfectly. Our product developer confirmed: you do not have to reconstitute the peanut butter powder before adding it to the Cookie Mix.
How to make Peanut Butter Sugar Cookies:
- Follow the instructions on the Cookie Mix bag.
- Add 2/3 cup of Lakanto Peanut Butter Powder
- Add 2 Tbsp of water.
If the dough is too dry or crumbly, add another 1/2 Tbsp or 1 Tbsp of water. You should be able to form balls but the dough shouldn't stick to your hands. Flatten like a typical peanut butter cookie with a fork. If you like, sprinkle just a touch of Golden or Classic Sweetener on top of each cookie for that extra sugar-cookie crunch.
Sugar-free frosting
One of the best things about sugar cookies is that there are endless possibilities. You can add flavoring to the dough (almond extract, for example). You can dip them in cinnamon sugar. You can add sprinkles to make them look festive. Whatever you choose to do you can make this simple cookie mix into a creation of your very own.
There is nothing better than a sugar cookie with thick frosting. We had one of our affiliates share her delicious, dare we say perfect, keto buttercream frosting.
